Focus was set up in 2018 to lead cross-cutting University improvement projects, such as graduate admissions and casual payroll. Due to our success and fresh approach, we have grown as a team and now support the Professional Services Together programme as a delivery partner. We run service reviews, improvement projects and smaller consultancy jobs. We also have a very well respected skills development programme for Continuous Improvement.

We work in partnership with you to create a collaborative environment in which your team and other stakeholders can engage to solve problems and identify solutions. We start by understanding the current situation, both what works well and where the challenges lie and what is causing them. Once there is a shared understanding of this, we move on to helping you identify possible solutions until there is an agreed set of improvements and an action plan.
Trained in Continuous Improvement techniques and methodologies, the Focus team is home to 14 Continuous Improvement (CI) Practitioners and has created a network of qualified CI Associate Practitioners across Oxford as part of its successful CI Local Practitioner training programme.
Focus works in partnership with Professional Services Together to build capability and promote a better way of working.
