University-wide service reviews

Commissioned by the Services Subcommittee, University-wide service reviews are normally sponsored by a Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) or the Registrar, with co-chairs drawn from the service area and one of the divisions.

Due to their breadth and depth and highly consultative nature, University-wide service reviews take approximately 9-12 months to reach the recommendations stage and then enter the implementation phase. The Focus team leads the reviews until the recommendations are approved by Services Subcommittee. The implementation of recommendations is led by the Head of Service who update Services Subcommittee on progress.

As part of Professional Services Together, service reviews help us refresh and reform our services so that they meet the needs of staff and students across the University and hopefully free up staff to turn to their many other priorities.
